The Middle Fork of the Salmon River offers some of the most plentiful fishing spots in Idaho. Surrounded by the largest wilderness area in the lower 48, there are a plethora of activities in this area, spanning from great fly-fishing to breathtaking scenery and some of the most powerful rapids in the states for whitewater rafting. Aim for late June to hit some of the best fishing the Middle Fork has to offer.
