River Rafting Season is Almost Upon Us

Its March, the month where spring begins and leprechauns frolic around for a spell. But it also means that river rafting season is almost upon us and there will no doubt be enthusiastic adventure seekers making their way to all the whitewater fun Idaho has to offer this coming summer. Before you get ahead of yourself with excitement, here is what you need to know before going out into the wild. Let us assume that you have a passion for the outdoors and rafting, you still need to know your skill level and level of comfort with certain rapids and class of rapids. Once you those figured out, you'll need to know what river you will raft and how to get there. There are a few choices to consider when getting to your destination.

Driving/carpooling is always an option, assuming you have vehicles and at least one trailer to pull your raft. One vehicle needs to be left at the exit site where you will be getting out of the river (assuming there is accessible public parking). Once you reach the end of your amazing river rafting journey, the vehicle where you put into the river will need to be retrieved. A lot of people do this, it certainly is not impossible, but it's not the best use of your precious weekend or vacation time. The most sensible option is to use Caldwell Transportation’s river shuttles to get you where you need to go. No need to leave or retrieve anyone's car. We have years of experience in carting adventure and thrill seekers to the most sought after whitewater destinations the state. Here’s what you need to know:
