One of my favorite things about living in Idaho is that a great hike is never very far away. No matter where you live, there is always somewhere close by that offers a great hike with beautiful scenery. Some of my favorite hikes in Idaho are in and around Stanley.

Idaho is known for its beautiful outdoor experience, and of course, it’s delicious potatoes. Around the Stanley, Idaho area is some of the best fishing that Idaho has to offer. If you are in the Sawtooth Mountain area, there are multiple fishing opportunities to take advantage of. Depending on the season, there are a few different fishing experiences to be had all in this area. Spring brings steelhead fishing to the lakes, while summer boasts incredible fishing for rainbow trout on the rivers.
